Day 6 and 7 - Poland

I finally have some more pictures uploaded to show you. These are from days 6 and 7 of our trip. We are in Poznan. On Day 6, we basically became familiar with the area and let Kinzi do a lot of resting. It was pretty hot and every time we walked outside she became instantly fatigue. We think she was pretty overwhelmed as well. She's been holding my hand the whole time and is clinging on to me. Nathan is going headstrong and most of the time leading the way so he's adapting really well.

The next three pictures are of the Raczynskick Library. They say don't bother to go inside, it the outside that is impressive. It was built in 1829. What we found cool is that they had sculptures outside and we liked those.

Raczynskick Library

Our favorite sculpture called "Judith".
Our least favorite sculpture called, "Kennel". We thought it was weird.

The next two photos are pictures of our hotel!

These next 3 photos are what we look at when we exit our hotel.

These last three photos are of a place called Mickiewicz Square.

The first one is of the Kaiser Castle. This was Hitler's residence during the German occupation and is now a cultural center/church.

These are some beautiful crosses by the castle. We are looking for a cache near by but there are some many muggles around that it is hard to locate the cache. We'll be coming back often.

This is also the reason we couldn't locate the cache. This appeared to be a human rights demonstration by college students and the police are on the other side of the students. The building you see in the background is used partly for a medical school and music concerts.
